NOTIFICATION on Gridco's Prepaid System Studies

For conducting System Studies, the perspective / existing user(s) proposing to be connected / already connected to the existing network (132 kV and above) shall submit an application to Senior General Manager (Corporate Planning). Only after  acceptance of the application by the Senior Genera Manager (Corporate Planning), the user(s) shall deposit in advance a sum of  Rs.35,000/-(Rupees thirty five thousand) only towards the fee for conducting System Studies comprising of Load Flow, Short circuit and Electromechanical Transient (short term ) Stability study as per the scope of study and terms & conditions elucidated below.

The requisite fee shall be deposited in shape of Bank Draft drawn from any Nationalised Bank at Bhubaneswar payable to the D.D.O, Gridco Head Qr's Office,  Bhubaneswar.

The user(s) shall furnish data in the prescribed format, specified under Section 15 of OEGC and as per provision of the software, to the  Senior General Manager (Corporate Planning), Gridco. The same shall be made available from the O/o the Sr.G.M.(CP).

A .Scope of Study:

1. Load Flow Study: 

The study shall be conducted under High or Low  Hydro with peak system loading  condition or any one of the user defined condition, acceptable to Gridco. One contingency case study shall be conducted with the above condition.

 2. Short Circuit Study:

 The study shall be conducted with three phase to ground fault and single line to ground fault.

 3. Stability Study:

  The Electromechanical (short term) stability study shall be conducted with three outages, namely - outage of one single generator, outage of one single circuit transmission line.

B. Terms and Conditions:

1. The system studies covering Load Flow (3 phase a.c.), Short Circuit and Electromechanical Transient (short term) Stability shall be conducted as per the relevant provision of OEGC and Transmission  Planning Criteria.

2. Two copies (one original & one photocopy) of the study report shall be provided to the user(s). Subsequent copies shall be obtained at an extra cost of Rs.500/-(Rupees five hundred) only per copy.

3. The study shall be completed within 60 working days from the date of  receipt of data in complete shape and the results shall be submitted as per the provisions in the software.

4. The study shall be conducted as per the prevailing scenario at that time. Any  alteration / modification (in connectivity/configuration) at a later date shall be treated as a fresh study. The incidental changes , if required towards consultancy for any specific conditions other than the aforesaid conditions under the scope of studies, shall be borne by the user(s).

5. Gridco reserves the right to alter / change the fees for the study and terms and conditions at a later date, if required.

6. This notification on Prepaid System Studies supercedes the earlier notification No. SGM(PS)-PL-GC-38/2001/2642 dated 28.10.2002 of Sr.G.M (P.S).
