Gridco started bilateral Interstate
trading of its surplus power with the utilities/SEBs through traders
after Notification of Act-2003, As per Act –2003 trading is an
distinct activity. This Inter State trading by GRIDCO was started
with effect from 05.07.2003.
GRIDCO has traded its surplus power
through inter state “F” Category traders such as 1. PTC INDIA LTD. 2.
ADANI ENTERPRISE LTD. 3. NTPC VIDYUT VYAPAR NIGAM LTD. 4. TATA POWER
TRADING COMPANY LTD. 5. LANCO ELECTRICITY UTILITY LTD.
